A mama near you needs this

What if you were the one to open a group for her?

Hello,

If you got our email on Sunday you'll already know the kind of impact a single Singing Mamas session can have on a mama's life.

There are around 165 Singing Mamas community groups across the UK and beyond. And for the women who have one nearby, it can make all the difference: "it would otherwise have been a very lonely year," as one mama in Yorkshire told us.

But there are whole towns, whole postcodes, where a woman like the one Kate described yesterday would look for a group and find nothing.

"It's more than just a singing group... it's a community and it's the village that we lack in today's society. For new mothers, this is a lifeline." — Group member, West Sussex

The women who build that village in their own communities are our Community Leaders. Women from all walks of life — who trained with us, learned to lead a circle, and started showing up every week for the mothers on their doorstep.

Our next Community Leader Training begins Tuesday 7th October 2026. Bookings open Wednesday 17th June.

Over the coming weeks we'll share everything you need to know to decide if this is your moment: what the training involves, what it costs, what life looks like on the other side of it, and what it really means to hold this work in your community.

And if you want to get ahead, the main details are here: singingmamas.org/community-leader-training

We're glad you're here.

Warmly,
Kate and Singing Mamas HQ
